League Information - League origin is circa early 1970’s; comprised of Winchester Ladies; families and ‘gal pals’. Over the years the League has evolved to include age range 18 years to ‘whatever floats your boat!’ (currently 83 years young and going strong) from Winchester and many neighboring towns. The league enjoys good competition but more importantly many laughs together through our ‘gal time’ camaraderie.  We have 6 teams; comprised of 4 bowlers/team. We are interested to expand back to 5 bowlers per team or perhaps 8 teams of 4. We handicap team average @ 80% average; with a minimum score of 70 per bowler…..subs pay for alley fee only and bowl for fun!  Current weekly cost is $13.50 which pays alley fees plus holiday party and year-end banquet. Bowlers are responsible for full fee if absent and discounts apply for extended absence due to illness if a substitute bowler can fill in Come join us; we’d love to have you help us expand

Line Up - 3 strings / switching lanes
League Information - Money prizes at the end of the year, this is a fun league for all ages.  At this time the age group ranges between 18 and 65+.

South End Women's
Adult Women

Cost - $15.00 a week (at this time, 2009-2010 season)
Season Start-  First Monday after Labor Day
Time - 6:30 p.m.
Line Up - 3 strings (bowl 2/3/3/2 boxes per string)
League Information - League origin is early 1950’s; began as a women's league of the South End Italian Club.  Bowlers range in age from twenties to seventies. Bowlers come from Woburn, Billerica, Burlington, and surrounding towns.  The league enjoys good competition and great fun.  There are ten teams comprised of 4 bowlers per team.  Handicap @ 80% with a guaranteed minimum score of 70 per bowler.  Currently weekly cost is $15.00 which pays alley fees plus year-end banquet.  Bowlers are responsible for full fee it they are absent.  Cash prizes at the year end.  All bowlers guaranteed a gift.  Season runs for 30 weeks.
